Postdoctoral Research Program (PRP)

Natural Resources Canada, in collaboration with ECCC, AAFC and Health Canada, is looking to hire dedicated individuals for the program of Postdoctoral Research Program (PRP). The successful candidates will then be hired as Scientific Researchers (SE- RES). The job is based at different locations in Canada. The salary ranges from $66,925 to $145,166 on per year basis. The applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no last date to apply for the position. The candidate should have completed a doctoral degree (PhD).

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will conduct the original researches according to the mandate of the department. They will plan the research program and then execute it properly. The candidates will analyse the data. They will write the technical reports. They will write the research publications. The candidates will present their findings at the meetings and workshop. The candidates will collaborate with the research teams and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a PhD. A combination of education and relevant experience is also acceptable. They should be eligible to work in Canada. The candidates should be eligible to get security clearance.

Experience Needed:

The candidates should have experience in conducting scientific research. They should have experience of working in collaboration with different teams. They should have published some reports or publications before.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidates should have strong analytical skills. They should have good written and spoken communication skills. They should have good judgment skills. They should be able to work independently. They should have problem solving skills.
