Customer Service Clerk – Unilingual and Bilingual (English/French)

The Ministry of Energy and Mines, Mines and Mineral Division (Information and Land Branch) is looking to build a talent pool for the Customer Service Clerk position. The job location will be Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Both unilingual English and bilingual English/ French candidates can apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will be responsible for taking public queries via phone, email and in person. They will provide them with accurate information. They will help the clients with MLAS navigation. They will solve the technical problems. The candidates will take care of transactions and payments. They will manage the reception. The candidates will distribute the mail. They will coordinate with the internal teams.

Education:

The candidates should have a secondary school diploma and a combination of education and training. For bilingual positions, the candidates should have advanced French oral and written skills. They should be proficient in office software. They should look after the databases.

Experience:

The candidates should have experience in providing customer service. They should have experience in performing administrative duties. They should know how to interpret legislation.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidates should have good interpersonal skills. They should have good analytical skills. The candidate should be able to solve problems. They should have time management skills. The candidate should have organizational skills.
