Taxpayer Services Agent

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is looking to hire a dedicated SP- 04 Taxpayer Services Agent. The candidate will work in the Western Client Contact Centre. The job locations will be Edmonton, Calgary and Surrey. The candidates will be providing telephone based assistance to the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of the candidate will be to handle incoming telephone calls from the taxpayers. They will provide information about the Tax returns. They will help with the filing processes. They will explain the CRA social programs. They will collect information from the callers. The candidate will search for the solution by using a database. They will use the CRA computer application.

Qualification:

The candidate should have a secondary school diploma. They should be bilingual in English and French (CBC/CBC). They must live within a close distance from the office.

Experience:

The candidate should have 12 months of client service experience. The candidate must have 6 months of experience using computer applications.

The candidate should have good communication skills. They should be consistent in their work. They should be able to work under pressure. They should be able to manage stressful situations. The candidate should be able to do the research. They should be able to collaborate. They should be adaptable.
