Housekeeping Manager

The National Arts Centre (NAC) is looking to hire a dedicated Manager, Housekeeping. This is a full time job opportunity. The job location is the National Capital Region on the unceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for scheduling the housekeeping services. They will maintain high standards for NAC facilities. They will look after the waste management practices. They will manage the logistics. The candidate will make sure that the supple cost remains within the budget. They will conduct training for the staff members. They will collaborate with the different teams.

Education:

The candidate is required to have a post-secondary diploma. A combination of education and relevant experience is also acceptable. The candidate should be fluent in English and French.

Experience:

The candidate should have 4 years of experience in housekeeping. They should have 3 years of experience managing the housekeeping staff. They should have a background in working in a customer service setting.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should have strong leadership skills. They should have good communication skills. They should have good interpersonal skills. The candidate should complete tasks with professionalism. They should be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. They should be able to collaborate with the teams. They should have good organisational skills.
