Housekeeping Aide

Southern Health Sante Sud is looking to hire a Housekeeping Aide. The candidate will join the Environmental Services team at Bethesda Regional Health Centre/Bethesda Place in Steinbach, Manitoba in Canada. This is a casual job opportunity and in in-person role.  

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and special cleaning in the facility. They will maintain the cleanliness, do the sanitization and maintain the hygiene in the facility. The candidate will prioritize the cleaning tasks. They will maintain the confidentiality of the patients and the staff. They will help in infection control. The candidate will work in the flexible shifts.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a Grade 10 education or equivalent. They should be able to read and write in English. They should be able to communicate in English. They should have a valid Class 5 driver’s license. They should be able to work in a mentally and physically demanding environment. They should be eligible for the background check.

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have worked in an industrial or commercial setting in the past. A combination of education and relevant experience is also acceptable.

Skills Competencies:

The candidate should pay attention to detail. They should be able to work independently. They should have basic computer skills. The candidate should have good problem solving skills. They should be flexible with work. They should be reliable.
