Interactive Media Producer

The Experience and Engagement department, Canadian Museum of Nature, is looking to hire an Interactive Media Producer (ME- 06). This will be a temporary and full time position in the Victoria Memorial Museum Building (VMMB) in Ottawa, Ontario. This is a 2 year contract position that will pay $82,656 to $101,312 on per year basis. The closing date for accepting applications is January 11, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for designing the bilingual digital interactives. They will lead the front-end development. They will review the old interactive installations and suggest changes. They will help with the upgrading of the old assets. They will develop the accessibility standards for interactive media. They will collaborate with the teams.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have completed the post-secondary education in Interactive Media, UX/UI design, digital media design, communications, journalism or any relevant field.  A combination of education and relevant experience is also acceptable. The candidate should be proficient in English and French.

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have 5 years of experience in leading a multilingual digital interactive team. They should have experience in using UX/UI design. They should have experience in managing projects. They should have experience working with the physical AV systems. They should have experience in producing multimedia content.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should have expertise in front end development. They should be good at project coordination. They should be good at collaboration. They should have strong communication skills. They should pay attention to details.
