Parks Canada Summer Jobs 2026
Parks Canada is looking to hire students and temporary staff for Summer 2026. The candidates will work in the national parks, historic sites all over Canada. The candidate should be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution as a student. The students will get salary from $17.75 to $28 on per hour basis. Some positions offer a salary up to $30 per hour. The closing date for the application is March 1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidates will be responsible for helping with environmental conservation. They will work on restoring the environment. They will provide information to the visitors. They will do general duties to maintain the location. They will help with HR responsibilities, finance, IT, communications etc. The candidates will help with the events, indigenous relations and other research projects. They will make sure that the visitors at the park feel safe and secure.
Required Qualifications:
The students must be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution. They should be eligible to work in Canada. They should be willing to work outdoors and on weekends.
Experience Needed:
The candidate should have worked or volunteered at a park before. They should have experience in customer service.
Skills and Competencies:
The candidates should have good communication skills. They should be reliable. They should be physically strong. They should know the basics of computers. They should have organizational skills.
