The Ontario Public Service (OPS) is looking to hire dedicated candidates for the Summer Employment Opportunities (SEO) Program 2026. The OPS is offering multiple temporary positions in different ministries, branches and divisions in Ontario. The roles are under Student Level 1 and Student Level 2 job codes. The duration will be from May through the end of summer. The applicants should be enrolled in or recent graduates from a secondary or post-secondary institution. The offered salary is $17.60 to $18.45 on per hour basis. The last date to apply is June 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will provide the administrative and clerical support. They will help with the research and policy development. They will help with the customer service. The candidates will work in the environmental, agricultural, IT, communications, finance, human resource or technical field. They will help in the parks, recreation, conservation, or law enforcement.

Required Qualification:

The candidate should be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution or should have graduated within the past 6 months. They should be 15 years of age. They should be resident of Ontario. They should have a SIN.

Experience Needed:

The candidate having a previous experience in volunteer, academic, or extra-curricular activities would be an asset. Some positions may demand specific experience. They should be willing to learn in a professional work environment.
