Park Maintenance Leader

Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks- Ontario Parks is looking to hire a candidate for the position of Park Maintenance Leader. The job location will be Calliper Lake Provincial Park in Ontario. The selected candidate will get a salary of $26.98 to $29.90 on per hour basis. Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for leading the team. They will monitor the water system. They will work with the park equipment. The candidate will take care of the vehicles in the park. The candidate will monitor the wastewater system too. They will do the plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance. They will document every task they do.

Required Qualification:

The candidate should have completed secondary school education. They should have a valid Class G driver’s license. If the candidate has a certification in maintenance, that will be an asset. The candidate should have an emergency first aid certification.

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have experience in doing maintenance work. The candidate should have experience to maintain the water and sewage system. They should have experience in leading a team.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should have leadership skills. They should have problem solving skills. The candidate should be good at organizing. They should have basic computer skills. They should have knowledge of the safety standards. The candidate should have good communication skills.
