Parks Seasonal Labourer

The City of Calgary is hiring candidates for the position of Seasonal Park Labourer. The job location will be Calgary, Alberta in Canada. The number of candidates to be hired is 100. The candidates will get a salary of $31.64 to $35.04 on per hour basis. The candidates should have a high school diploma. The last date to apply for this position is January 27, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for cleaning the parks. The candidates will work with the park equipment. They will take care of the landscape areas. The candidates will remove the weeds and pests. They will do basic repairs in the park and the facility.

Required Qualifications:

The candidates should have a high school diploma. The candidates should have a Class 5 Driver’s License. They should be eligible to get a operator’s permit  from City of Calgary.  The candidates should be able to work in shifts.

Experience Needed:

The candidates should have experience in using hand tools. The candidates should have experience working in a physically demanding environment. The candidates having experience in horticulture, landscaping or pest management will be an asset.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidates should have good communication skills. They should know about the safety standards. They should have good physical stamina. The candidates will follow instructions. They should be able to work independently.
