Aquatics Instructor

The Ministry of Education, Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch is looking to hire dedicated Aquatics Instructors. The job location will be Amethyst Demonstration School and Robarts School for the Deaf in London, Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the candidates will be to plan and organize the training programs. They will create a safe environment for the teams. They will organize competitive activities for the teams. They will look after the equipment. They will follow the school procedures. They will collaborate with the teams. They will communicate with the students.

Education:

The candidates should have certification from the National Lifeguard Lifesaving Society. They should have knowledge of First Aid and CPR certification. The candidates should have training in non-violence crisis intervention. They should have training in aquatics and physical education. They should be proficient in English and American Sign Language.

Experience:

The candidates should have experience working with diverse students. They should have experience to instruct the deaf students. They should have experience in following the safety protocols.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidates should have strong interpersonal skills. They should have good judgment skills. They should work in collaboration with the teams. They should be able to lift up to 25 pounds. The candidates should have knowledge of Ontario Public Pools regulations.

 Benefits
