Education:

• The Candidate have good command of language requirements such as English and French.
• The Candidate have to complete the course of Valid Transport Canada Watch-keeping Mate and Canada Fishing Master Class III or higher from a reputed institute in Canada.

Experience:

• The candidates should have experience as a fishing officer and mates, especially at the Canadian coastline offshore Fishery Science Vessels.
• The candidates should have worked as a deck supervisor on a commercial stern trawler.
• The selected candidates must have good judgement s and capacity to work effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

• The candidates who have applied for these jobs must have a valid watch-keeping Mate certificate COC or higher to qualify for these job positions.
• They should be experts in one of the following areas, such as rescue specialists and twiners courses.

Skills and Competencies:
