Heavy Vehicles Drivers

The Department of National defence (DND) in the Canadian Army is looking to hire Heavy Vehicle Drivers at Alberta, Kingston and Petawawa in Ontario, Canada. The candidate should be experienced. They will be given the salary of $27.83 to $30.26 on per hour basis. The candidate should have a secondary school diploma and a required commercial license. The closing date for the application is January 9, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for operating tractor- trailers, buses, cargo trucks, staff cars etc. They will conduct inspections every day. The candidate will troubleshoot the problems. They will keep the vehicles clean. They will keep the documentation accurate and complete. The candidates will report any defects to the senior team members. They will work independently and as part of the team.

Required Qualification:

The candidate should have a Class 1 driver’s license. They should have a Class 2 driver’s license. The candidates should be able to lift up to 25 Kg. They should be eligible to get a DND 404 military driver’s license.

The candidate should have experience in operating large vehicles. They should have experience in doing the inspections. They should have experience working in logistics.
