Fish Plant Worker

The Southside Processing Inc. is looking to hire dedicated individuals for the role of Fish Plant Workers. This is a permanent onsite work position. The job location will be Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The candidates should be used to working in a cold, wet processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for cutting the fish fillets. They will need to follow the production specifications. They will need to clean and prepare the fish and seafood. They will need to inspect fish fillets. The candidate will need to remove the bones from the fish. They will use their hands and knives at work. They will clean the machine. They will follow food safety and workplace safety regulations.

Required Qualification:

There is no requirement for any formal degree or certification. The candidate should be able to follow the instructions. They should be able to follow the safety guidelines. The candidate should be willing to work in a cold and wet environment.

Experience Needed:

There is no requirement for any past experience. Full training will be provided to the candidate. If the candidate has experience in food processing or factory work, then it will be considered as an asset. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should have good hand eye coordination. They should be able to do repetitive tasks consistently. They should have good physical stamina. They should have good work ethics. They should be comfortable working in a team. They should be able to maintain a hygienic environment.

Benefits

The selected candidate will get a salary of $19 on per hour basis. They will get to work for 40 hours per week. They will be provided full training on the job.
