Head Gate Attendant (Seasonal)

The Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) is looking to hire a candidate for the position of Head Gate Attendant (Seasonal). The job location is Neys Provincial Park in Marathon, Ontario, Canada. The job duration is 25 weeks from May to October. The salary will be from $24.67 to $28.59 on per hour basis. Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for doing registration for visitors and campers. They will train the gate staff. They will provide the customer service. They will help with receiving the revenue. They will write the reports. The candidate will do the clerical tasks. They will do the front line jobs. They will work in shifts.

Required Qualification:

There is no specific requirement of academic education. The candidate should have a valid driver’s license. They will be working for 36.25 hours per week. They should have basic knowledge of workplace safety legislation.

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have experience in customer service. They should have experience of managing the finances. They should have worked in an office previously. They should be able to lead the gate staff.

The candidate should have good interpersonal skills. They should have good communication skills. They should have time management skills. They should be good with computer applications. They should be good at data entry. The candidate should be good at reporting. They will be working in a fast paced environment.
