Heritage Presenter (Guide)
Parks Canada is looking to hire Heritage Presenters (Guides) for the 2026 operating season. The candidates will work in the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area. The job location will be Nipigon, Ontario, in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidates will show the presentations and give tours to the tourists. They will help with the community outreach. They will provide visitor services. The candidates will provide information when required. They will support the logistics tasks. They will represent parks Canada in a professional way to the visitors.
Qualification:
The candidates are required to have two years of secondary school diploma and a completed 1 course of heritage interpretation, communications, public speaking or any relevant field.
Experience:
The candidates should have 3 months of experience in education or outreach communications. They should have experience in interacting with the visitors. They should have experience of providing information to the groups. The candidates should have certification in performing arts or museum education.
Skills and Competencies:
The candidates should have strong communication skills. They should be good presenters. They should be adaptable. They should be a story teller. They should be capable of walking and hiking on trails.
