LIBRARIAN PUBLIC HEALTH

Public Health Division, Decision Support, Surveillance and Immunization Section of the City of Toronto is looking to hire 1 dedicated candidate for the position of Librarian, Public Health. This is a permanent and full time position. The job location is 61 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario in Canada. The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Library Science from a recognized institution. The candidate will get a salary of $47.07 to $51.58 on per hour basis. Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for providing library services to the public health library. They will resolve any issues that arise in the library. They will take care of the hardware and software system. They will design the library database. They will conduct the research methodology. Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a master’s degree in Library Science or Information Science. They should have knowledge about copyright and licensing. They should know about electronic resource management. The candidate should have experience in a health research library.

The candidate should have good experience in conducting literature searches. They should have experience in managing the library system. They should have experience in policy development.
