Mail/Reception Clerk
The Ministry of Solicitor General is looking to hire a dedicated Mail/ Reception Clerk. The candidate will work at the Central North Correctional Centre in Penetanguishene. The job location will be Ontario, Canada. This is a temporary work position for up to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail. They will schedule the inmate visits. They will operate a multiline telephone switchboard. The candidate will provide information to the callers. They will greet the visitors in the facility. They will do administrative tasks. The candidate will complete all the tasks assigned by seniors.
Education:
The candidate is required to have a secondary school diploma. They should have knowledge of the ministry legislation. The candidate should know about the policies and guidelines. They should be good at using computers.
Experience:
The candidate should have worked as a receptionist before. They should have experience in doing administrative tasks. The candidate should have experience in handling the sensitive information. They should have experience in working with the mail.
Skills and Competencies:
The candidate should have good interpersonal skills. They should be good at customer service. They should be good at working on a computer. The candidate should have problem solving skills. They should have good judgment.
