Manual Worker (seasonal)

The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, Ontario Parks: Port Burwell Provincial Park is looking to hire a Manual Worker (Seasonal). This is a seasonal, annually reoccurring contract up to 35 weeks per year from April to November. The candidate will get a salary of $22.86 to $24.66 on per hour basis. The last date to apply is January 12, 2026. No formal education is required to apply. The candidate should have a driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for doing the park duties. They will do regular inspections of park infrastructure and facilities. They will help with the operations or the park’s water treatment system. They will help with the compliance at the park. They will report any bad incidents in the park to the supervisor. They will work outdoors in different weather conditions.

Required Qualification:

There is no requirement for any formal education. The candidate should have an Ontario Class G driver’s license. They should be eligible to get a CPR and Emergency First Aid Certificate.

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have experience in maintaining buildings or parks. They should have experience with plumbing. They should have experience working independently.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should be physically strong. They should know about the workplace safety standards. They should have good communication skills. They should be reliable. They should be good at teamwork.
