Indigenous Student Employment Program

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is looking to hire candidates for the Indigenous Student Employment Program. The candidates working in NRC will have a chance to gain practical work experience in an environment that will enhance their capabilities and increase their potential to get the best jobs at a later stage.

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the candidates will be to work on challenging projects in technology, engineering and research. They will get to apply to theoretical learnings of college to the practical scenarios. They will collaborate with the researchers and other professionals from different sectors. They will develop their skillsets with this work profile.

Education Qualification:

The candidates should be considered as Indigenous. They should have a high school diploma. They must continue their studies from the next semester. They should be registered with a recognized Canadian educational institute. They must have a Reliability Status security Clearance.

Experience Experience:

The previous work experience of the candidates is not required. If the candidate has a strong educational background and is willing to work in a highly motivated environment, that would be a plus point.

SkillsSkills and Competencies:

The candidate should know how to work in a team. They should be adaptable and possess strong problem solving skills. They should have good communication skills.

The selected candidates will be given a salary of $664 – $1436 per week based on their academic record. There will be a possibility of a hybrid work environment.
