Research Associate Program
The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is looking to hire Research Associate. NRC is Canada’s largest research and technology organization. The work duration is 2 years and there is a possibility to extend the duration to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the candidates will be to conduct high quality researches in engineering and natural sciences. They will contribute to NRC’s mission of supporting Canada’s innovation system. They will collaborate with teams from different disciplines. They will publish the findings and help with knowledge transfer.
Qualification:
The required qualification is a Ph.D. in engineering or natural sciences or a Master’s degree in engineering obtained in the last 5 years. The candidates should be able to perform research and publish their findings. They should have a reliability status security clearance. Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada will be given preference.
Experience:
Candidates should have a track record of research throughout their academic journey. There should be clear evidence of their research and ability to conduct and design the research.
Skills and Competencies:
The candidates should possess a strong analytical skills and problem solving skills. They should be able to work independently. They should have good communication and writing skills.
Benefits
The selected candidates will be given a salary of $64739 – $183010 per year. The pension plan is included. There is a plan to cover health and dental, along with disability and life insurance. The candidates will get paid leave and wellness support.
