Park Maintenance Worker (seasonal)
The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, Ontario Parks, is looking to hire 6 candidates for the position of Park Maintenance Worker. This is a seasonal work opportunity located in Nestor Falls, Sioux Narrows and Kenora in Ontario Parks Division in Canada. The selected candidates will get a salary of $22.86 to $24.66 on per hour basis. The last date to apply is February 6, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidates will be responsible for doing the ground maintenance. They will also do the minor repairs. They will collect the garbage. They will maintain the sanitation. They will operate the park equipment. The candidates will check the facility for any damage or repair wherever required. They will give directions to the staff and visitors in the park.
Required Qualification:
The candidates should have a secondary school education. They should have a valid Class G driver’s license. The candidate should be able to get CPR and Emergency First Aid certification. They should be available to work in shifts.
Experience Needed:
The candidates should have experience in landscaping or ground maintenance. They should have experience in using power equipment. They should have experience working in outdoor conditions.
Skills and Competencies:
The candidates should be able to work independently. They should have good organizational skills. They should have teamwork. They should have good communication skills. They should have knowledge of safety regulations. The candidate should have physical stamina. They should pay attention to detail.
