Pharmacist, Team Lead

The Ministry of Health, BC Public Service, is looking to hire a Pharmacist Team Lead. The candidate will work in the Formulary Management Team. The job location is Victoria or Westminster, British Columbia, in Canada. This is a full time job opportunity with a hybrid role. The candidate will do the 4 days a week of telework.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will lead a team of pharmacists. They will provide advice on pharmacy practice. The candidate will work with the clinical evidence. They will work with stakeholder inputs. The candidate will contribute to the policy development. The candidates will work in collaboration with  the policy makers.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized university. They should be registered and have a license with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have a minimum 5 years of experience practicing as a licensed pharmacist. They should have experience in medical literature. The candidate should have experience in leading a team of pharmacists. They should have 2 years of experience in formulary management. The candidate with a degree like Pharma will be given a preference. 

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should have good analytical skills. They should have leadership skills. The candidate should have strategic thinking. They should have good communication skills. The candidate should be able to manage the projects.

 Benefits

The selected candidate will get a salary of $103,093.18 to $136,856.12 on per year basis. They will get an additional 7% OSS provision. The candidate will get health and dental benefits. They will get 4 weeks of vacation. There will be a hybrid work option available.
