ONGOING STUDENT RECRUITMENT

The Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) is looking to recruit students for paid, full time and part time employment. There is no fixed hiring date, as this will be an ongoing hiring process. The selected candidates will get a salary from $17.75 to $38.38 on per hour basis. The selection criteria for the candidate selection are that the candidate should be enrolled as a student in a recognized educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for different things depending on the department where they are posted. But the general responsibilities include providing administrative support. They will help with the research. They will help with the data collection. The candidates will help with preparing the reports. They will help with the public service initiatives. They will collaborate with the teams in the office.

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should be registered as a full time student at a recognized university. They should meet the eligibility age criteria for working in that state. They should be eligible to work in Canada. They should be willing to undergo security screening.

Experience Needed:

There is no requirement for any past experience. The candidates with volunteer experience will be considered as an asset. They should be open to learn about the work in the public sector.

The candidates should have good communication skills. They should be able to work independently. The candidate should have time management skills. The candidate should have basic computer skills. They should be professional.
