Seasonal Maintenance Crew Leader

The BC Public Service is looking to hire Seasonal Maintenance Crew Leaders for 2026. The job location will be Cranbrook, Nelson and Revelstoke, BC in Canada. The job duration will be from April 13 to September 11, 2026. The candidates will be guiding crew members to keep the outdoor sites safe.

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for leading two to four seasonal maintenance crew members. They will assign day to day work to the crew members. The candidates will coordinate work with the RSTBC staff. They will make sure safe operation of tools. They will maintain recreational structures. They will communicate with the staff using radios. The candidates will work outdoors.

Education Qualification:

The candidates should have a degree or a diploma in tourism or forestry or any related field. Or they should have grade 12 and two years of work experience. They should have a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Experience Experience:

The candidate should have experience in leading the staff. They should have experience in planning. They should have experience working outdoors. The candidates should have experience in using hand tools and power tools. The candidates with first aid certification will be given preference.

The candidates should have strong leadership. They should have teamwork abilities. They should have good communication skills. They should be ready to work outdoors. They should have good judgment skills. They should be able to manage logistics. The candidates should maintain safe work practices.
