Site Logistics Officer

The Centre for Health Data Integration and Direct Measures (CHDIDM) from Statistics Canada, is looking to hire multiple Site Logistics Officers. The positions will be across different parts of Canada. The selected candidates will work at the Temporary Examination centres (TECs) and Mobile Examination Centres (MECs). The candidates will look after the safety functions of the centres.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for assisting in the setting up of TECs and MECs for data collection. They will conduct safety inspections. The candidates will handle shipping and receiving of logistics. They will perform repairs. The candidates will maintain inventory. They will take care of the safety. They will report to the site manager at workplace.

Required Qualifications:

The candidates should have a Millwright certification. They can have a combination of education and relevant experience. They need to be fluent in English and French. They should be eligible to get security clearance. The candidates should have a valid driver’s license. They should be capable of lifting 25 kg on the site.

Experience Needed:

The candidates should know how to repair mechanical systems. They should know how to maintain records. The candidates should know how to ship and receive logistics. the candidates should keep a record. They should know how to maintain field standards.

Skills and Competencies:

The candidates should have mechanical expertise. They should have strong communication skills. They should be able to adapt in a fast paced environment.

Benefits

The candidates will get salary of $3124 – $33.95 on per hour basis. They will get paid travel. The candidates will have a pension plan. They will get paid leave. The health benefits will be included in the work.
