Pay Clerk – Census Eastern Region

Statistics Canada is looking to hire Pay Clerks (CR-04 level positions). The location of work will be Montreal Island Quebec. The individuals who get selected for the role will provide administrative support services in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of selected candidates will be to maintain and update the pay records. They will verify and review the employee pay claims. They will be responsible for generating the reports. The candidates will handle the queries from the employees. They will be providing general administrative support to the clients.

Qualification:

The candidates who are going to apply for this position should have a 2 year secondary school education or a combination of education and work experience. They should know how to use the basic computer applications.

Experience:

Preference will be given to people who have worked in a similar workplace setting before. They should be proficient in using computers. If they have worked in the census of population before or in payroll processing, that would be an advantage.
