Student Visitor Services Attendant

Parks Canada is looking to hire the dedicated candidates to create the inventory for Student Visitor Services Attendants. The candidates will work in the 2026 visitors season. The job location will be Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada and work locations in Chet camp and Ingo Nish Beach, Nova Scotia in Canada. This opportunity is focused on the students.

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will be responsible for providing the front line customer service at the gate entry. They will collect the revenue. They will process the entry passes. The candidates will provide the information to the customers about the attractions in the parks, trails and safety guidelines. They will help with the management of traffic. They will help with the campground operations. They will maintain the cleanliness.

EducationRequired Qualification:

The candidates must be registered secondary students. They could also be a full time post-secondary student. They should be eligible to work according to the laws of Nova Scotia. They should be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Experience Experience Needed:

The candidates should have experience working in customer service. Volunteer experience will be accepted as well. They should be willing to learn and participate in different training programs.

SkillsSkills and Competencies:

The candidates should have good communication skills. They should have strong interpersonal skills. They should be customer focused. They should be reliable. The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors. They should be able to look after the records.

The selected candidates will get a salary of $17.75 – $28.30 on per hour basis. The salary will depend on their education level. They will gain experience working in a federal environment.
