Vacant Unit Tax Clerk

The City of Ottawa, Finance and Corporate Services Department, revenue services is looking to hire Vacant Unit Tax Clerks. This will be a casual position. The job location will be Nepean, Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. The selected candidates will provide clerical support to the municipal administration.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for front line customer service for the residents in VUT inquiries. They will provide clerical support. The candidates will provide administrative support. They will help with processing the tasks. They will prepare the billing. They will maintain the records for vacant residential properties. The candidates will use the Microsoft Office Suite. They will promote the VUT.

Required Qualification:

The candidates should have completed grade 12. They should have knowledge of clerical work. They should know about the finance and property taxes. They should be able to meet the language requirement.

Experience Needed:

The candidates should have 6 months of clerical or customer service experience. They should have experience working in an office. The candidate should have experience working in an office. If the candidates have experience working in a municipality, that would be considered an asset.
